Lakes Trading Company is a full service commodity brokerage firm clearing all trades through ADM Investor Services. Bob Pirie, President, has an extensive background in agriculture growing up and working with his father on a diversified grain and livestock operation in Northwest Iowa until 1984. In 1985, he and his family moved to Fairmont where he managed Jameson-Williams Commodity Brokerage. In 1990 he bought Jameson-Williams and founded Lakes Trading. Lakes works with agricultural producers in the risk management of grains and livestock. We also offer individual speculative accounts for investors. We have grown over the years to include branch offices in Britton, South Dakota, Monona, Iowa, and Mobile, Alabama. | | DuWayne Bosse, Branch Manager, has an extensive background in agriculture growing up on his family farm in northeast South Dakota. He attended South Dakota State University and graduated with a degree in General Agriculture. In 2001 he started the branch office in Britton, South Dakota. DuWayne is also a partner in Bosse State Line Farms, which farms land in South Dakota, North Dakota, and Minnesota.
